Position Summary:
We are seeking a caring, compassionate, mission driven Director to oversee various health care functions such as pre-registration, registration, insurance verification, point of service cash collections, financial counseling, coding, billing, account follow up, Fee Collections, Bad Debt, customer service, cash posting, and data management; direct service hours delivered (productivity), demographics of clients served, contract reporting outcomes and deliverables within the outpatient setting.
Education Experience/Requirements:
Bachelor, AA degree or relevant college courses in business, finance and computer science preferred or equivalent professional experience of a minimum of seven years in Medicaid, Medicare and third party insurance billing, claims review, appeals, and audits. Previous supervisory experience required. Knowledge of general office practices and procedures, alpha and numeric filing systems and computer system design and operations required. Previous experience in a medical psychiatric office preferred.
