Product Implementation & Service Technician
Reporting to the Technical Support Manager, the Product Implementation and Service Technician shall be responsible for the installation of new printers at customer locations; training customers on printer features and software; diagnosing and repairing customer reported problems; and implementing solutions that enable clients to achieve their desired output.
This role requires hands-on skills with an understanding of electromechanical equipment and software. Good communication skills, urgency in problem solving, and thorough follow-up are important attributes to ensure clients realize their goals. A successful candidate will be action oriented, capable of working independently, and able to multitask.
DCS will provide thorough product training to enable this role to be highly effective in the field.
Responsibilities
· Travel (up to 50% of time) to customer locations to install or repair printing equipment
· Train clients on printer features, functionality, and software
· Lead and manage clients through the process to remedy and resolve printer issues
o Respond to help-desk tickets from clients reporting problems or issues
o Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with printing equipment
o Implement effective solutions that enable customers to achieve their objectives
· Collaborate with Product Engineering on printer performance and improvements
· Identify improvements in installing, training, supporting, and servicing products
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
