Dine Development Corporation / NOVA-Dine has a position for Desktop Support. This position will be supporting the Defense Enclave Services (DES) team, who will support an extensive digital modernization program critical to DISA and Fourth Estate Agencies. In this position, you will work with a team in planning, coordinating, and carrying out the implementation and support of computer hardware.
•Manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.•Desktop system management responsibilities involving account monitoring, security, Operating System (OS) installation, and other local area end user related functions.•Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.•Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.•Provide Tier 1 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problem.•Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.•Effectively communicate and directly engage with customers and colleagues.•Hands-on diagnose network related issues.•Work independently to resolve technical issues in a dynamic environment.•Focus on superior customer satisfaction.
Must have an active Secret DoD Secret Clearance
Education & Certification(s):• High School diploma.
• Must hold one of the following IAT II certification:
Requirements:• Minimum 2 years of experience in providing technical support to internal users in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing and debugging routing hardware, software, or networking equipment problems.• Experience with installation, labeling, cabling, connection and troubleshooting of enterprise distributed computing systems.
• Experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting blade server, and blade server enclosures.• Experience with COOP planning and operations a plus.• Able to maneuver in small spaces and lift up to 55 lbs.
Additional Requirements:• Strong written and verbal communications required.• This is an essential personnel position.• Willingness to work flexible hours.• Shift work may be required.• On Call Duties will be required.
