Job Summary:

The Communications Lead will play a key role in ensuring program information is properly communicated to build awareness increase employee adoption and usage. The person will focus on effective communication to support the business processes, systems and technology, jobs roles, and organizational structures. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing communication strategies and plans that build awareness across the program.

NOVA is working on a very exciting potential opportunity with Indian Health Services. We are actively working on submitting a proposal for a 5 year contract based in Rockville, MD. *This position is dependent upon contract award*

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading the development and execution of a comprehensive Communications Strategy and Plan to support partner and stakeholder engagement and drive user system adoption
• Provide contact management support for communications, and continually improve outreach-related processes.
• Develop/maintain standard operating procedures and other process documentation as necessary
• Participate in quality assurance activities required by the program.
• Will be responsible for developing and maintaining the following deliverables for the customer.
  • Communication Strategy
  • Communication Plan
  • Core Briefing Deck
  • Communication Toolkit
  • Communication Collateral
• Assist with developing training materials.
• Other duties as assigned. 

Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):

Required Qualifications/Experience:

• BA or BS in Business Administration, Communications or English with Eight (8) years of experience in communication roles supporting large IT system implementation (health care implementation desired) and OCM engagements
  • Or Associate Degree plus ten (10) years of experience in communication roles supporting large IT system implementation and OCM engagements
• Excellent written communication skills.
• High level of expertise with the Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
• Must be able to pass a standard background check. 

Desired Qualifications/Experience:

• Health Care Implementation.
• Experience working remotely using collaboration tools such as, but not limited to: MS Teams, SharePoint, JIRA, and Confluence
• Experience supporting large-scale organizational change management initiatives for enterprise organizations.
