Dimensions in Glass is Hiring a Client Service Representative Near Fairfield, CT

Position Summary

Dimensions In Glass is looking for a client service representative to be responsible for interfacing between all employees, customers, office manager, and suppliers. Duties will include Conducting show room business; retail sales, telephone sales, customer service, receiving deliveries, tracking purchase orders, supporting inventory, scheduling employees: fulfillment - verifying materials for job and that it is accurate, notify customers of scheduled appointment and balance due if applicable, receiving completed paperwork from employees and processing appropriately i.e. reschedule incomplete items, reordering incorrect/missing items, and invoicing completed work. In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have an understanding of the sales process and dynamics, and also superb interpersonal skills.

Objectives:

  • Receive daily mail and distribute appropriately
  • Schedule employees: - verifying materials for job and that it is accurate, notify customer of scheduled appointment and balance due if applicable, receiving completed paperwork from employees and processing appropritely i.e. reschedule incomplete items, reordering incorrect/missing items, an i invoicing completed work, mailing statements
  • Mailing ( email, fax, postal) estimates, patterns, samples etc.,
  • Keep showroom clean and orderly; keep front counter organized with all files
  • Receive deliveries
  • Track purchase orders
  • Update customer data in quickbooks
  • Keep displays and samples up to date and orderly

  • Displays willingness to make decisions; exhibits sound and accurate judgment; support and explain reasoning for decisions.
  • Prioritize and plan work activities; use time efficiently; set goals and objectives; organize or schedule other people and their tasks.
  • Proficiency in Quickbooks, Microsoft Word

Experience:

  • GED or high school diploma preferred
  • Office Admin/assistant or sales experienced preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
