Currently, we’re seeking a Frontend Developer to add to our growing team. This person will work with a large, agile scrum team to support front end, user interface design and development for a Microsoft Azure cloud-based clinical research management web application.

Responsibilities

• Gathering and evaluating user requirements, in collaboration with product owner, business analysts and engineers.
• Design and implement UI components to be used in a large cloud-based web application.
• Create a rich user-centered experience.
• Participate in testing of completed components to assess user experience.
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness).
• Implement changes based on user feedback.
• Coordinate UI development with other backend developers in the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience.
• 2 or more years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UI development using HTML5 standards.
• Proficient in Javascript and jQuery library.
• Experience with Front-end JS frameworks such as React, VueJs, Angular, or Angular JS.
• Experience in Bootstrap or similar CSS frameworks and implementation of responsive design.
• Experience in working with JSON and REST API.
• Experience with coding and the ability to troubleshoot and analyze websites and applications using chrome developer tool.
• Ability to work with design mock-ups to create a consistent UI.
• Understanding of section 508 UI accessibility standards.
• Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.

Preferred

• Strong understanding of visual design and how it applies to UI.
• Experience developing UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look.
• Experience in medical/clinical research domain.
• Experience in working with REST APIs and C# in Azure/AWS.
• Experience in serverless applications in cloud environment.
• Experience in cross-browser testing.
• Experience working in Agile software development environment.
