The Recruiter is responsible for all hiring activities, from advertising open roles to interviewing candidates and filling positions. The Recruiter’s responsibilities include connecting with potential candidates, screening applications, supporting hiring managers, collaborating with department managers on a regular basis and proactively identifying future hiring needs.

• Development and implementation of innovative and effective sourcing solutions to ensure the company has the talent necessary to execute the Company’s strategic plan
• Supports the HR Manager in creating and implementing the recruitment and development framework that ensures a robust talent pipeline of candidates for current and future openings
• Maintain applicant tracking system, recruiting reports and other staffing administration functions
• Develops and implements creative, impactful and compliant recruiting and retention strategies
• Facilitates the recruiting and onboarding process. Posts job openings, processes applications, drafts interview questions, schedules and conducts interviews, coordinates orientation with training coordinator
• Assess gaps in recruiting and retention through observation, surveys, interviews, focus groups, or in consultation with managers
• Ensure talent acquisition process is deployed in support of recruitment and retention initiatives
• Structure each recruitment effort as a collaborative project to ensure all HR and hiring managers are aligned in identifying hiring needs, ideal candidate profile, and strategy
• Enhance Company brand awareness and reputation in the talent marketplace both internally and externally
• Prepare job descriptions and directly manage internal job openings/postings to ensure maximization of advancement opportunities and succession planning
• Support business unit individual growth plans by developing internal and external talent pipelines

Do you have what it takes?

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR or a related field or related experience
• 3 years of proven work experience with full life-cycle recruitment (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter)
• Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems and candidate management systems
• Hands-on experience with various selection processes like phone interviews and reference checks
• Ability to conduct different types of interviews (e.g. structured, competency-based and behavioral)
• Solid knowledge of HR policies and best practices
• Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadline
• Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills
• Advanced level skills in business software programs (Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.)
• Strong decision-making skills
