Director of Information Technology

The Director of Information Technology of the DiGeronimo Companies will be responsible for the overall technology strategy and direction of the company. They will work closely with the teams to identify and implement technology solutions that will improve process management and efficiency throughout the organization.

This person will be a key member of the team and will play a critical role in driving the company's success through the effective use of technology and ensuring the security of the company's data and assets. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading technology initiatives and delivering results in a dynamic environment.

A typical day looks like:

• Developing and implementing a technology strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives and goals
• Identifying and implementing technology solutions that will improve process management and efficiency throughout the organization
• Ensuring that all technology systems and processes are compliant with relevant regulations and industry standards
• Managing the IT department and providing leadership and direction to the team
• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, partners, and customers
• Staying informed about new technologies and trends in the construction industry and make recommendations for how they can be leveraged to improve the company's operations
• Developing and implementing a strategy for integrating new technology systems and software into the company's existing infrastructure
• Managing and overseeing all system integrations, including project planning, execution, and testing
• Working closely with other departments and teams to ensure that system projects are aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives
• Continuously monitoring and assessing the performance of integrated systems and make recommendations for improvements as needed
• Acting as the main point of contact for all system related matters with external partners and vendors
• Ensuring data security and compliance
• Maintaining a disaster recovery plan to ensure minimal disruptions in case of emergencies
• Maintaining a comprehensive information security program to protect the company's personnel, data, and assets from cyber threats
• Regularly reviewing and updating security policies and procedures to ensure they are up-to-date and effective

Do you have what it takes?

• At least 10 years of experience in a leadership role in IT, with a focus on process management and information security
• Strong understanding of the construction industry and its technology needs
• Experience implementing software and systems
• Be hands on with systems management and implementations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Strong background in the areas of systems, process management, and automation
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Strong knowledge of information security standards and best practices
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or other security related certifications is a plus
