Starting pay $21.00/hr

Responsibilities

  • Prepares, records, and submits warranty claims to the dealership and/or distributor and reconciles them accordingly.
  • Processes all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation.
  • Verifies criteria required by factory or distributor.
  • Reconciles all warranty receivables with payments through the appropriate accounting schedule.
  • Post warranty payments for accounting
  • Maintain various service accounting schedules
  • Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts on all internals.
  • Maintains high customer (internal and external) satisfaction standards.
  • Resubmits all rejected claims promptly or receives authorization to write them off.
  • Follows up on payment of outstanding claims.
  • Files and maintains all service records as required by the director
  • Assists with any clerical needs as directed by the director.
  • Maintains a professional appearance.
  • Keeps work area clean.

Qualifications

  • Previous automotive warranty experience required
  • Excellent communication skills (including listening, speaking).
  • Ability to read, speak and understand English.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work alone, self motivate and manage one’s own time.
  • Physical ability to use computer hardware/software.
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Computer literate (MS Word, Advanced Excel, Outlook,)
  • Organized and extremely detail-oriented
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Deadline-oriented
  • Research skills
  • General math skills
  • Basic knowledge of dealership operations and/or office/clerical experience.
