Seva Hospice is a locally owned and operated company of experienced hospice providers with a desire to serve the communities we live and work in. Due to growth, we are looking for an experienced Account Executive to join our dynamic team serving Stanislaus County and surrounding areas.

The Account Executive is responsible for managing all aspects of organization marketing, establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and referral sources, responding to customer requests and concerns.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Manages all daily marketing operations including providing direct oversight of the establishment and implementation of marketing initiatives.

2. Assures, understands, and adheres to all laws, statutes and regulations regarding anti-kickback, lawful marketing activities (gifts and services), patient solicitation, and accurate marketing materials.

3. Demonstrates flexibility, enthusiasm and willingness to cooperate while working with others.

4. Fosters positive morale among staff, by promotion of open communication with all departments, to help create and maintain an innovative and cooperative staff relationship and environment.

5. Delivers orders and progress notes to physicians, facilities and/or social workers when needed.

6. Serves as a liaison between the agency, physicians, facilities, referral sources, and hospitals in the community.

7. Continuously conducts market assessments and develops a comprehensive marketing plan designed to meet budgetary volume projections.

8. Employs marketing and promotional initiatives to achieve budgetary volume projections.

9. Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with current and potential referral and payer sources.

10. Distributes information materials and participates in related promotional activities.

11. Recruits, supports, and orients, any new members of the marketing team.

12. Provides leadership in strategic planning including identifying opportunities for additional or improved services to address customer needs.

13. Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of local markets including government agencies, major payer groups, key referral sources, and competitor’s market positioning. Maintains comprehensive working knowledge in the field of marketing and shares information with appropriate organization personnel.

14. Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of community resources and assists customers in accessing community resources should services not be provided by us.

15. Achieves and maintains monthly goals as set by Supervisor.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent job industry related experience in home health or healthcare sales setting.

2. At least three (3) years experience in health care marketing preferably in home healthcare or hospice.

3. Demonstrated ability to support professional and administrative personnel.

4. Ability to market aggressively and deal tactfully with customers and the community.

5. Knowledge of corporate business management.

6. Demonstrates good communications skills, negotiation skills, and public relations skills.

7. Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
