Job Description: Clinic Manager *** $2,500 Sign on bonus***

 We are seeking a dedicated and capable Clinic Manager to oversee the daily administrative operations of our clinic(s). The Clinic Manager duties will include implementing procedures to optimize patient care and managing the budget. They will also be required to hire and train staff members.

To be successful in this role, the Clinic Manager should exhibit exceptional communication and supervisory capabilities. Outstanding clinic managers are experienced administrators who proactively address issues, improve operations, increase patient access, and improve patient experience, and mange within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishing and maintaining optimal rapport with physicians and other providers
  • Developing and implementing strategies to retain existing patients and drive new patient growth
  • Overseeing day-to-day clinic operations and supervising staff
  • Managing revenue cycle, volume, expense management, quality, patient satisfaction, and other performance measures/KPIs
  • Assisting in credentialing process of new providers as needed
  • Reviewing financial, quality, and other performance metrics with providers and operations team monthly and ad hoc
  • Ordering stock and supplies for the clinic
  • Overseeing the purchasing, maintenance, and repair of clinic equipment
  • Ensuring safety and cleanliness of clinic office environment
  • Developing and implementing procedures to deliver optimal patient care
  • Coordinating with HR in hiring, training, and performance evaluation of staff members

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • 5 years prior experience working in a clinical or healthcare setting
  • 5 years of proven success in leadership roles is required
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical thinking skills and the ability to exercise sound judgement when making decisions
  • Must be customer service oriented and prepared to liaise with patients, their families and other care providers
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to delegate tasks as needed
  • Ability to spend long periods of time sitting at a desk
  • Knowledge of a second language is an asset

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience in managing a healthcare facility or clinic
  • Ability to supervise and motivate clinic staff to perform their duties efficiently
  • Exceptional organizational skills to ensure that quality services are provided
  • Knowledge of procuring supplies, equipment, and staff needed at the clinic
  • Proficiency in managing budgets, billing, and negotiating with suppliers and vendors
  • Competency with computer-based healthcare administration systems, like Athena EMR
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for liaising with patients, healthcare providers, and specialists, as well as the public
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, health services administration, or similar
  • 5 years of equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of degree

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires light to medium lifting, up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to travel to various clinic sites, as needed
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department and clinic site
  • Must have access to reliable transportation and the ability to commute to the clinic location
