Dewberry is currently seeking an energetic and motivated Marketing Assistant to work in our Raleigh, North Carolina office. The position will support marketing personnel for pursuit and proposal efforts and will involve a variety of tasks our Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing/Fire Protection, and Structural (MEPS) Service Line based in our Raleigh, NC office. . . Our MEPS marketing team leads and supports local offices, strategic pursuits for a geographically dispersed team and collaborates with other marketers to develop strategy and submit winning proposals to our targeted clients. Our team’s mission is to build office collaboration, leverage team members’ key skillsets, and drive strategy within the MEPS Service Line and our regions.. This position will work with a team of experienced marketers who successfully collaborate, promote individual strengths, and support each other's professional growth. The ideal candidate is a dedicated, market-focused professional who understands deadline-driven work and is a self-starter who can work both independently and within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple proposal efforts and teams simultaneously within diverse markets and service offerings.
• Support proposal production process and assembling and delivery of final documents.
• Compiles and edits proposal materials, including verifying and formatting proposal information.
• Research tasks
• Database input
• Organize and manage marketing collateral
• Comply with our corporate standards to present a consistent appearance/style for all presentation graphics, proposals, resumes, and collateral materials.
• Manage event planning for a variety of conferences.
• Support marketing in day-to-day efforts.
• Must be willing to travel to other office locations for meetings as needed.

Required Skills & Required Experience

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or other related field is preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate and work in a team environment.
• 2 years of experience preferred.
• Proactive in accomplishing tasks
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
• Must be flexible, self-motivated, coordinate shifting priorities, respond to short-term deadlines, and carry a diverse workload with tight timelines.
• Knowledge of database/CRM systems, specifically Deltek Vision, a plus.
• Experience working in Microsoft programs (i.e. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Experience working in Adobe Suite (InDesign) a plus but not necessary. 
• Professional demeanor
• Must be available to work overtime as necessary in order to meet deadlines.
• Some travel to Dewberry offices may be required.
