Dewberry is currently seeking an Entry Level Transportation Engineer to join our Rancho Cordova, CA office. The individual will work as part of a team in all facets of transportation engineering including design of horizontal and vertical alignments, site development, drainage systems, passenger and freight rail facilities. Working under the direction of a licensed civil engineer, assignments may include engineering calculations, cost estimates, technical reports, and preparation of contract plans for a variety of project types and clients.

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (with emphasis in Transportation)
• 0-2 years experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience using CADD (MicroStation or AutoCAD)
• Proficiency in MS Office software
• Desire to work in a team environment
• Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) is preferred

Must have a valid drivers license, good driving record and ability to pass a driving record background check.

The projected range for this position is $77,500 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
