Job Description

Dewberry is seeking an Entry Level Structural (Bridge) Engineer to work in its Rancho Cordova, CA office. The successful candidate will be part of a team designing simple and complex bridges (primarily of steel and concrete construction) and a variety of transportation related structures (retaining walls, culverts, sign structures, and other miscellaneous structures) using applicable software. The candidate will also be involved in the development of contract plans, the preparation of engineer's estimates and construction specifications, and performing construction support services

Position requires:

• B.S. in Civil Engineering (Prior Internship in Bridge Design preferable)
• Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam is required
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency using CADD (AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred)
• Proficient in MS Office (WORD and EXCEL)
• A desire to work in a team environment
