Development Gateway (DG) is an international nonprofit organization that creates innovative information management and data visualization technology, implements data-focused programs, and conducts research and evaluation to further sustainable development: developmentgateway.org

The Program Manager is responsible for managing client relationships and overseeing progress on large-scale projects (either multi-year, multi-country, and/or multi-million dollar). Our projects include (i) implementations of data management, visualization, and dissemination tools, (ii) evaluating and strengthening how individuals and organizations use data in their decision making, and (iii) applied research on how data and technology influence development and policy.
In this role, you will manage globally-situated programs, build relationships with partners, think strategically about long-term sustainability, support product innovation, and use an understanding of process and incentives to support data use. One of the main programs you oversee will be a multi-million dollar program that leads a public health research consortium in three African countries. A wide degree of creativity, latitude, and responsibility is expected, along with international travel up to 30% (as public health guidance allows).

The projected salary for this position is between $75,000 and $85,000 annually, plus benefits.
This position is based in the Washington, DC area. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, DG is currently working remotely with the option to work in the office. Prior to the pandemic, we had a hybrid work environment split between working remotely and working from our downtown office in the dynamic and just-renovated Open Gov Hub.
