Overview

Deutsche Bank's eCommerce Client Services team (eCS) are recruiting for electronic trading client support for the Listed Derivatives franchise.

The team are responsible for managing the requirements of Deutsche Bank's Listed Derivatives, Direct Market Access (DMA) clients; platform delivery, risk management of orders / positions when connectivity is lost, working with clients to resolve trading issues, testing, and demonstrating new products / functionality are key areas to manage.

Deutsche Bank provides DMA to Listed Derivatives markets through our Autobahn platform; Autobahn Futures & Options (ABFO) interface, FIX DMA connectivity, algorithmic trading products and third-party trading interfaces.

eCS operate as a 24x6 global model with an emphasis on team collaboration across the global day. This involves working with management in sales, trading, product, and technology in addition to eCS colleagues as well as a broad range of clients include Hedge Funds, Institutional customers, Government Agencies, Asset Managers and Pension Funds in global locations.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong relationships with our client base to ensure their requirements are met on a daily basis and for new offerings. Ensuring smooth transition onto e-trading platforms for new and existing clients

  • Advise on new trading products, test new products, as well as understand Algo functionality and strategies in order to support clients. Manage client orders during technical outages, checking position totals, reconciling to exchanges

  • Contribute and motivate team both directly and remotely in a demanding and highly visible role. Responsible for team delivering on local and global initiatives

  • Monitor and manage trading flow for FIX DMA, algorithmic trading, proprietary trading applications, and third-party trading offerings

  • Effectively manage risk to the Bank and Clients. Improve controls on an ongoing basis in a changing regulatory environment. Regulatory controls / procedures for Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and MiFID II controls

  • Help to facilitate growth of the e-business by championing high value add activities. Managing effective communication channels with clients on a daily basis and during technical incidents

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Degree qualified, but not strictly essential

  • Favorable technical skills, (Macro building, MS Excel or similar)

  • Knowledge of FIX protocol is advantageous but not essential

  • Listed Derivatives experience advantageous but not strictly essential

  • Display insight and ability in identifying issues and contributes towards resolution
