Hourly Rate: 18.00 per/hr

In this role, you will be a key player in ensuring members and guests have an exceptional golf experience while promoting an atmosphere of professionalism and excellence! You will be responsible for enforcing all club rules pertaining to golf, extending a warm greeting to all Members/Guests at the start of every round, and monitoring the first tee so as to ensure all players adhere to assigned tee times and keep play at an even flow. 

The ideal candidate will be professional, a team player, and passionate about golf and delivering exceptional experiences. Prior experience in a high-quality golf operation is preferred.

JOB DETAILS

Responsibilities:

• Provide a warm greeting while addressing all members by name upon arrival to the tee.
• Clearly communicate proper course etiquette and golf cart instructions for the day to all players.
• Verify that all players have checked into the golf shop prior to play.
• Ensure the practice green and surrounding areas are clean and orderly by actively picking up baskets and/or golf balls from respective areas (Chiricahua and Outlaw courses only).
• Ensure all players get to the tee on time.
• Maintain a record of each player’s preferred method of transportation for the round (walking, riding, walking cart, etcetera).
• Reconcile tee sheet with golf staff both throughout and at the end of each day.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

• Required to work in an outdoor working environment – Regularly
• Exposed to extreme temperatures and inclement weather – Regularly
• Required to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Required to stand for long periods of time.
