Have general knowledge of and ability to work with most of the following materials: lumber, plywood, wallboard, plastics, glass, metals, electrical materials, cloth, paper, photographic blowups, cardboard and drapery materials.

• Ability to work from layouts or drawings with dimensions and instructions
• Some general knowledge of blueprint reading
• Work on a job from start to finish with proper instructions and supervision
• Some layout and supervision ability
• Construction of high quality displays and cabinets
• Conduct him/herself in a businesslike manner at all times, using good judgment when coming in contact with customers.

Requirements

• Must possess strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and complete project within budgeted hours with minimal direction
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge in the use & set-up of bench, power and hand tools
• Ability to work from layouts or drawings with dimensions and instructions
• Previous carpentry experience is a must
