Logistics Transportation Responsibilities:

- Develop strong relationships with all “Derse approved” National, Van line and Regional carriers while soliciting competitive proposals. 

- Perform transportation coordination bookings independently, within the first 90 days. 

- Understand quarterly corporate compliance manager feedback responsibilities, within first 90 days. 

- Understand PT-specific MSA logistic charge out mechanics.

- Demonstrate proficiency in how to pull, process and receive PO’s and vendor invoices in the JDE system, within the first 90 days. 

- Work with Logistics Manager in understanding how to deal with service, performance and pricing related transportation issues, within the first 90 days. 

- Close out PO’s and compare to estimate and proactive identify potential issues of final pricing with sales team, DOD and DVP. 

Show Service and Portable Program Coordination Responsibilities:

- Review show services and I&D Sales Order Documents and applicable Budgetary Guide for scope and pricing parameters and then prepare show service and I&D forms, save to client folders for divisional viewing, place orders, enter PO into JDE, within the first 30 days.

- Assist with closing show service work orders by calling show service contractors/vendors after the show for pricing 

- Demonstrate proficiency in processing credit card and PO purchases in a timely manner with attention to meeting all discount deadlines from the show kits. 

- Assure I&D lead supervisors have complete set-up drawings and service order documentation within the specified MSA deadlines. 

- Back-up Portable Program Coordinator, within the first 60 days. 

- Understand individual client program pricing / work scope per program pricing quoted by estimating. Immediately bring any related job variances to Logistics Managers attention

- Create and enter Work Order into JDE from Smart Centre or other sources 

- Charge to work order actual time needed to process each order including data entry

- Enter events into Regional Program Calendar for divisional viewing Prepare show services forms, place orders, enter PO into JDE

- Compare credit card statements and invoices to original orders and budgetary guides and approve or reject; if rejected, follow-up with vendor 

- Process and approve credit card and PO purchases and close out work orders with pricing for timely billing

Requirements

• Previous Transportation experience a must
• Associates degree and or five or more years relevant experience required
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
