DeRoyal is Hiring a 2040 - 27088 HR Recruiter Near Powell, TN

HR RecruiterCome join our team! DeRoyal has an immediate opening for a Recruiter to join its Human Resources team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing HR support to the DeRoyal team by actively recruiting, screening and hiring team members. Actively recruits, interviews, screens and onboardsapplicants to fill DeRoyal career openings by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties maybe assigned. Recruits foropen positions within the company, including the following: creating andposting career opportunities for the company, reviewing candidate resumes andapplications for company opportunities, interviewing candidates, extendingemployment offers, and conducting reference, background and degree verifications(if college degree is required) and processing onboarding paperwork. Effectivelycorresponds and follows up with applicants to keep them in the pipeline. Establishesand maintains effective working relationships with hiring managers and meetsroutinely with managers to discuss job openings. Ensurescompliance with all state and federal laws, as well as, DeRoyal policies. Stays abreastof recruiting trends, best practices and new technologies in human resources,talent management, retention and employment law. Assists HRteam with new hire orientations. Educates new teammembers on DeRoyal policies. Coordinatesand oversees contract labor (temporaries) and is responsible for ordering timecards, billing and monitoring length of temporary employee service whennecessary. Answersinquiries by management, employees, and applicants in a timely manner. Performsoutside recruiting by attending college career fairs or staffing events asnecessary. Ensures effortsto recruit and retain a diverse and inclusive work team. Executes andmaintains all tracking of applicants and complies with all record retention proceduresand regulations. Updatesinformation in HRIS system as needed. Assists HRteam with projects as needed. Assists with employee relations activities. Conductsemployee plant tours for the purpose of informing employees or guests about careeropportunities within DeRoyal and to enhance employee relations.Arrives at work on time and complies with companyattendance and tardiness policies. Possessesability to get along with DeRoyal employees, applicants, customers and companyvisitors. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Bachelor'sdegree (B.A./B.S.) and of one to three years Human Resources experience preferred;or an Associate degree with 2 years recruiting experience or 5 years related experience.OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Microsoft Office experience. HRIS experience preferred.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent listening, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolutions skills.Must be organized and have an excellent attention to detail.Must be a collaborative team player.Ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner.Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
