Dermatopathology Northwest PLLC is Hiring a Laboratory Assistant Near Bellevue, WA

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate who is interested in medical or graduate school to gain meaningful experience in a health care setting with the opportunity for excellent post-employment references. Much more personalized experience than the national scribe services can offer. Very friendly team-like environment. Successful candidates will have a can-do attitude, be very realiable, and have excellent communication skills.

This full-time position will include providing a full range of laboratory functions including:

* Data entry
* Accessioning specimens
* Gross description of medical specimens
* Using the telephone to communicate with clients
* Maintaining service records
* Filing reports
* Following policies and procedures

Applicants must have:

* Associate degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution
* Or equivalent education including 60 semester hours, including at least 24 semester hours in science courses (Biology, Chemistry, Lab Technology)
* Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
* Ability to work in a group
* Ability to produce accurate, thorough and detailed results.

Experience is a plus but not required. The minimum education is required. This position is M-F 10:00am to 6:30pm. Ending time may vary based on workload. Full benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, PTO, holidays, 401K are provided.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.50 - $21.00 per hour
