Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Dermatology Medical Assistant at Torrey Pines Dermatology & Laser Center located in San Diego, CA. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for providing patient care, assisting with medical and surgical procedures, managing medical records, and performing various administrative tasks in a dermatology setting. Mohs surgical assisting experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Medical Assisting, Medical Terminology, and Medical Office skills
• Experience in providing patient care in a medical setting
• Knowledge of medical records management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in computer skills and electronic health records (EHR)-EMA preferred
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Relevant certification or degree in Medical Assisting or related field

2 years Experience in dermatology is essential
