The Impact You’ll Have

As an Email Developer you will be responsible for the development of email marketing campaigns for our clients.

Day to day 

• Create email templates with mobile responsive functionality.
• Ability to hand code standards-compliant code.
• Follow the correct procedures, policies and documentation requirements across project phases.
• Translate UI designs/wireframes into pixel perfect code.
• Develop and test across multiple browsers, platforms, and devices, including smartphones and tablets.
• Work with designers, producers, QA and other development team members and manage time across multiple projects and tasks in a deadline-driven, team environment. 
• Able to make quick decisions and solve technical problems to deliver projects on time. 

Skills and experience

• Proven experience coding email templates using HTML and CSS.
• Working knowledge of Figma or Sketch.
• Knowledge of:
• Email client limitations and workarounds
• Media queries and mobile specific coding
• Attention to detail is a must.

Nice to have: 

• Experience using command line tools, 
• HTML templating syntax such as Handlebars/EJS,
• Experience using testing tools such as Litmus/Email on Acid,
• Source version control software (Git, CVS, SVN). We use Git.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
