Denver Rescue Mission is Hiring a Digital Marketing Specialist Near Denver, CO

Description

Are you ready to be a part of a faith based organization where you can change lives? The Digital Marketing Specialist at Denver Rescue Mission is responsible for creating and implementing content for Denver Rescue Mission websites, emails and other digital marketing efforts, providing support for the digital marketing efforts of the Mission. The Digital Marketing Specialist is a full-time, exempt position and is part of the Communications & Marketing Team.

Hiring Range: $40,400 - 50,400 annually, based on qualifications and experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Email Marketing

  • Collaborate with external agencies and staff to conceptualize, produce, test, segment, and send all the Mission’s mass email marketing campaigns
  • Report on KPI metrics for email marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate with the DMM and the Marketing & Communications Team to keep the Mission’s email marketing calendar up to date
  • Maintain the Mission’s adherence to all legal requirements relating to email marketing including, but not limited to, the CAN-SPAM Act and local, national and international data-privacy laws (when applicable)
  • Assist other teams/departments with their communication goals as it relates to donor and volunteer mass email communications
  • Update and maintain automated email messages sent through Classy, Salesforce, Formstack, and more

Digital Content Production

  • Collaborate with Mission staff to produce content for and create web pages, blog posts, fundraising pages/forms, and event registration and contact forms
  • Prepare for web any graphics and photographs in collaboration with external agencies and other Mission staff
  • Assist the DMM, Volunteer Department, and Impact Team in the creation of volunteer opportunities in Salesforce
  • Coordinate with the DMM to utilize analytics and optimize content to offer donors an integrated and strategic customer journey
  • Maintain source code tracking for all donation campaigns in order to optimize the customer experience and gain insights into donor behavior

Other

  • Attend monthly Development meeting, team meetings and other organization meetings as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by the DMM or Marketing and Communications Director

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, or a minimum two (2) years of experience in an equivalent field required.

Hard Skills and Software

  • Strong proficiency in Salesforce/Pardot or equivalent CRM and email marketing platform, copyright concerns for digital asset production and management, email marketing best practices and CAN-SPAM Act, and digital accessibility best practices
  • Strong proficiency in HTML/CSS, WordPress, email marketing platforms, UTM Tags, SEO and CMS best practices
  •  Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite to produce web-ready content, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Prefer some working knowledge of Classy, Google Marketing Platform tools, JavaScript, jQuery
