Description

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Client Engagement Specialist to join our Clinical Services Team. The Client Engagement Specialist develops and presents educational programs, facilitates psychoeducational groups, provides crisis intervention and information/referrals to victims of relationship violence and sexual assault.

Reports to: Director of Clinical Services

Supervises: Assigned Interns and Volunteers

Main Position Activities: 

• Provide education on domestic violence and sexual assault topics to victims.
• Assess client needs and connect each client to resources and agency programs
• Maintain client files and records with confidentiality with accurate and complete documentation
• Collect and report statistical data reflecting the services provided in a timely manner
• Collaborate and act as a liaison with various other organizations and agencies (CPS, Law Enforcement, DA, etc.) to meet the needs of clients
• Assist as required to train, supervise, and motivate volunteers and interns regarding domestic violence and sexual assault dynamics.
• Maintain networking contacts with other area agencies and organizations, and act as liaison and referral source for the staff and community.
• Participate in DCFOF staff and education meeting as requested.

Requirements

Prerequisites:

• Bachelor’s degree in social services, or related field
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Must be at least 23 years old
• Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record

Preferences:

• Bilingual in Spanish

Physical Requirements:

•  Ability to lift 25 lbs. 
•  Ability to easily climb stairs
•  Ability to sit for long periods of time
