Job Description:
Our Regional Manager will lead a small group of dental offices in our growing territory and will be responsible for providing direction, leadership and development of the region's management team. This position will have full accountability for achieving financial objectives, operating efficiency, and excellence in patient care. The Regional Manager will achieve results by building high-performing teams, operations effectiveness, maximizing on growth opportunities, having a strong hold on key organizational initiatives and ensuring successful implementation in the portfolio offices.
MUST HAVE 5 years experience or more in multi-site practice management as well as evening and weekend availability.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the requirements including competencies, knowledge, skill, and/or ability.
Preferred Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
• Minimum five years' of relevant work experience as a multi-site dental practice manager
• Prior P&L management experience
• Regular travel within the region and possible trips to headquarters location (New Hyde Park)
• Proficient in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Lead the region with strong guidance and inspire team to excel in areas of performance including patient care, revenue growth, collections and instill high level of self-accountability on a daily basis
• Provide continuous direction and support to direct reports and raise awareness on operational priorities like productivity, schedule management, expense management, billing, authorizations, approvals, claims management and increasing new patient flow
• Analyze business and financial data on a daily basis to recognize and build on strengths, provide daily feedback to Office Managers to improve weak areas of performance and identify anomalies occurring in the region
• Identify, develop and recruit high caliber talent and continuously build a healthy pipeline of future leaders
Managerial Responsibilities:
A successful candidate will enjoy building relationships at all levels of management. High levels of collaboration are required with office management and non-clinical staff, and the Executive Leadership team in regard to company initiatives, dental office management, growth, collections, profitability, communication, motivation, and patient care.
