Job Description:
Minimum:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
- 10 years Experience in engineering, software, or related
- 2 years of Expertise in K8s (EKS preferred) from kubectl Terraform
- 2 years Experience releasing updates to K8s and workloads
- 2 years experience with Git CLI GitHub
- Ready to be on-call
- Strong troubleshooting skills in Linux environments
- Strong Collaboration skills from Design to Implementation to Support
- Strong experience with Terraform Open Source or Enterprise
Desired:
- Working with large and highly secure enterprise environments
- Designing, implementing and running cloud native micro services
- Developing fully native AWS cloud services
- Collaborate across functional teams
- History of implementing DevOps practices in an enterprise environment.
- Designing, implementing and running CI/CD pipeline in the cloud
- Proven experiences on continuous deployment for both web and IOS mobile applications
- Strong knowledge of common application and security protocols
- Strong experience with AWS environments (codepipeline/codebuild)
- Promotes DevOps culture supporting Config as Code and Infrastructure as Code best practices
- Ability to contribute and deploy NodeJS/GO microservices
- Experience querying centralized logging (Sumologic preferred)
- Strong experience with Terraform Module and Private Registry
- Strong experience working with AWS native services (ECS, Fargate, LB, Lambda, EKS...)
- Experience implementing and migrating to AWS Lambda (serverless) architectures
- Container orchestration via Docker/ECS/K8s K8s Operator
- Linux Shell Scripting (preferred Bash)
- Ability to pair from Design to Implementation to Support
