Working Title: Account Payable Coordinator
Supervisor: AP Manager

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

General Description of Position: The accounts payable clerk position is accountable for performing accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.

Training: General accounting principles and use of computerized accounts payable accounting system.

Essential functions and responsibilities listed below:

• Review invoices and check requests
• Set up new vendors
• Distribute invoices to project managers
• Sort and match invoices and check requests
• Code and set up invoices up for payment
• Reconciliation vendor statements to ensure all invoices are processed
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
• Resolve invoice discrepancies
• Vendor file maintenance
• Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
• Produce weekly/monthly reports
• Files/Scans invoices into vendor file
• Process and maintain W-9 forms
• Other duties as assigned

Specific Equipment and Materials to be used: Fax, telephone, PC, copier, scanner, calculator

KSA’s:

• Knowledge of Sage software a plus
• Knowledge of accounts payable, general accounting procedures, and relevant computer applications
• Proficient in data entry and management
• Ability to work independently in a time sensitive environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
