Duties include, but are not limited to

• Rooming of patients (vital signs, chief complaint, histories, etc.)
• Assisting with procedures
• Surgery scheduling
• Stocking supplies
• Phone messages, following up on appointments, procedures, and referrals

Knowledge and skill requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer and typing skills including grammar and punctuation
• Medical terminology, especially women's health and obstetrics
• Ability to implement a prescribed care plan and document PHI accurately
• Professional, personable and caring, and able to help patients feel at ease

Requirements

• Current Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (through NCCT, AAMA, or ARMA) certificate
• Current CPR/First Aid
• One (1) year clinical experience in women's health or obstetrics preferred or helpful
• Pass background check and drug screen
