**Description**

**SALES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE**

* Understand, support and adaptable to all company policies and procedures

* Constantly strive to achieve and exceed personal sales goals, ex. UPC (units per customer), and ADS (average dollar sale)

* **Demonstrate high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and team work with customers, peers and management team**

* Demonstrate proper etiquette when communicating with external customers (phone, email and written communication)

* Develop a strong knowledge of Salt Life product specifications, and communicate this knowledge to customers in a clear and concise way

* Build genuine relationships with customer

* Communicate with management regarding customer concerns and employee matters.

**INVENTORY MANAGEMENT AND MERCHANDISING**

* Maintain daily organization, cleanliness, and restock storewide

* Actively participate in merchandising activities including, shipping and receiving, recovering the floor and ensuring all merchandise is placed in their respectable area

* Attend and participate in floor sets.

* Fold, straighten, size, steam, and replenish merchandise.

**LOSS PREVENTION**

* **Protect store assets and inventory through an awareness of loss prevention procedures. All suspicions and violations must be reported to the Supervisor.**

**REQUIREMENTS**

* Must be at least 18 years of age

* Minimum 1-2 years retail experience

* Interest in ocean centric activities

* High School Diploma required

* Ability to work store sales floor for extended periods

* Able to work flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays

* Ability to lift at least 30 lbs., carry, push, squat, kneel, twist, turn, reach and bend

* **Must have a positive, outgoing, high energy personality**

*Computer skills to include operation of retail point of sale system
