Our company is one of the most significant publicly traded water, wastewater service and natural gas providers in the U.S. Function: Under general supervision, performs duties consistent with field operation and maintenance of compressor, transmission, production and storage facilities. Duties: Assists in the operating and maintenance functions on transmission pipeline facilities including, but not limited to, pigging, drip removal, right-of-way maintenance, and line location requests. Maintains the appearance of compressor sites, valve lots, and well locations including, but not limited to, mowing and painting. Assists and directs contract crews hired to clear right-of-ways. May be required to assist Company crew to clear right-of-way and to operate tractor and mower. Assists with routine and scheduled preventative maintenance activities on compressors and related equipments. Performs operating and maintenance functions including, but not limited to, road and railroad crossing inspections, valve inspections, atmospheric corrosion inspections and facility and well inspections to ensure code compliance. Performs routine maintenance and repair of assigned tools and power operated equipment. Assists and performs pipeline liquids collections and disposal. Subject to standby duty on an as-needed basis and is on 24 hour call. May be required to work alternative 40 hour per week schedule. Performs any and all other duties assigned by authorized personnel. EDUCATION: High School or equivalent OTHER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Must possess a valid drivers license Must be able to frequently and routinely bend, stoop, dig, lift, pull and carry items occasionally exceeding 100 pounds and any other activity required during the transmission process May be required to obtain a Class A CDL license with air brakes, tanker endorsement and hazardous material endorsement Delta, an Essential Utilities company, is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
