Oracle ODI Developer - Senior Consultant
Deloitte consulting team is looking for senior/mid-level technical ODI Developers with expertise in Oracle Data Integrator 12c with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL skills on the latest version of Oracle Database higher than 12c.
Total Working Experience for Senior Consultant Levels: 8-12 years; 5 years with ODI
For Consultant Positions: 5-7 years; 2-3 years with ODI

Required Technical Skills:
- Strong communicator.
- Strong ability to understand business process, business language, and business rules.
- Strong knowledge data warehousing and dimensional modeling concepts.
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
- Strong knowledge in developing ODI interfaces, packages, procedures, ufunctions, solutions, sequences and ODI Tools in a standalone ODI environment or ODI environments for Oracle BI Applications (OBIA).
- Sound understanding of knowledge modules and have experience in customization of RKM, LKM, IKM, CKM and JKM knowledge modules as per the requirement of ELT processes.
- Ability to configure Change Data Capture CDC and integrate with Oracle Golden Gate is a plus.
- Ability to develop using ODI SDK is a plus.
- Extensive knowledge to configure Load Balancing through agents and scheduling through ODI scheduler.
- Strong awareness of the Coding Standards of ODI and ODI substitution API.
- Sound understanding of ODI studio components like Designer, Topology, Operator and Security Navigators.
- Good understanding of the architecture of ODI and running ODI in different environments (Windows/Linux).
- WebLogic JDBC connection pool and multi-pool configuration with Oracle Database.
- Analyse environment / server performance data, JVM memory issues, and root-cause analysis of problems and recommend course of action to increase performance.
- Knowledge in UNIX shell and WLST scripting, and Windows batch scripts.
- Sound knowledge on writing UNIX commands, Unix shell scripting, Jython scripting and Perl scripting for file Feed Handling, Text Processing, Archiving, and purging.
- Experience in working with different source systems ( flat files, xml files, RDBMS etc).
- Participated in writing technical specifications ( source-target mappings, validations, and exception scenarios).
Desirable Skills
- Configuring ODI/OBIEE Components in Clustered Environment for High Availability.
- Strong knowledge in ODI administration tasks and has experience in creating Master Repository and Work Repositories in the initial setup of Environment.
- Configure, Install, Deploy, Maintain Oracle Data integrator 12c server and agents.
- Experience with developing customizations in ODI for OBIA modules.
- Education - 4 years of bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science.
