Coordinates strategy, plans initiatives, manages project/initiative work teams on a day-to-day basis, sets and organizes agendas, maintains compliance with internal firm standards, and communicates to key stakeholders and executive leadership regarding projects/initiatives.
The team
The Emerging Market Opportunities (EMO) team works across the global firm to identify nascent trends in the marketplace, define the unique value that Deloitte can bring to its clients, build a centralized go-to-market strategy, and develop the mechanisms required for innovation, acceleration, demand generation, and market capture.
Deloitte's culture is collaborative, transparent, and inclusive. As part of this firm and team, you will build your arsenal of professional skills to think bigger, work smarter, and lead better.
Work you'll do
As the EMO Program Office Program Senior Manager, you will provide day to day support to the EMO Leader and Deputy Lead SM in all areas of responsibilities. This role will operate as an extension of and leverage to the EMO and will have significant responsibilities in supporting the development and execution of the strategy and vision. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Works closely with Executive leaders to facilitate execution of key projects and initiatives. Provides strategic, analytical and project management support, and keeps leadership abreast of noteworthy events, milestones and issues in their area of responsibility.
- Provides support and oversight to major projects/initiatives. Organizes teams and integration of all appropriate channels and sub-channels involved in execution and delivery of projects/initiatives. Manages against budget, talent and timeline goals.
- Design, manage and lead in-person, hybrid, and virtual leadership meetings and events.
- Ensures the timely communication and flow of information among leadership and key stakeholders for projects/initiatives. Serve as a conduit and contact point so key objectives are communicated clearly and can be met.
- Maintains lists of Executive Team priority action items, and monitors progress on action items. Oversees and executes other significant "strategic administrative" responsibilities: develops and maintains calendars, schedules and facilitates meetings, responds as appropriate to inquiries from various leadership groups.
- Contributes to and oversees the development of internal communications deliverables (including emails/voicemails, newsletters, presentations, speaking notes, etc.) to relay key messages or ask for participation/execution on activities.
- Work with the Advisory community to coordinate EMO efforts with the appropriate cross-talent teams.
- Responsible for leading and implementing complex, firm-wide initiatives.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree; Minimum 10 years of related experience
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multiple-projects environment
- Strong strategic and critical thinking skills to identify interdependencies between issues, data, and outcomes; clear understanding of how moving pieces come together to build the big picture
- Outstanding interpersonal skills that build relationships at all levels across the organization with the ability to influence, collaborate, and build consensus
- Strong analytical skills and ability to identify and present data-driven insights and trends
- Proven ability to communicate ideas and insights in person, virtually, and in writing, succinctly and with impact, understanding what is relevant vs. what is "noise" to the audience
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Travel up to 20%
Preferred:
- Experience in business development, talent management, and/or organizational development
- Prior consulting or professional services experience
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $146,288 to $258,788.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability or protected veteran status, or any other legally protected basis, in accordance with applicable law.
