About the Role:
We are actively seeking a full-time Director, Marketing to develop and execute DelCor’s marketing strategy. This Director will work closely with the Director, Client Partnerships to align our marketing strategy with our business development strategy and continuously come up with new and creative ways to generate leads in the association/non-profit space. They will maintain and continue to build relationships with organizations who have marketing contracts with DelCor. This position will report to DelCor’s President and manage the Marketing Associate position.
This is a great position for an experienced marketingprofessional wanting regularly changing and challenging situations. The position requires creativity, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
*This is a mostly remote position with a few days a month in the Silver Spring office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead DelCor’s marketing strategy
- Work with the Business Development teamto align marketing strategy with sales goals
- Build and maintain relationships with organizations that represent marketing opportunities for DelCor
- Work with the Marketing Associate on events calendar and enure DelCor is represented at the appropriate events
- Collaborate with Director, HR on DelCor’s employment branding and strategy
- Continuously make recommendations on things we could change, update, or improve
- Guide Marketing Associate in the development and advertising for DelCor’s podcast, Reboot IT, and webinar series, Association TechTalk
Preferred Experience/Training:
- 5-10 years in Marketing
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Masters degree preferred
- Experience developing and executing a marketing strategy
- Managerial experience preferred
- Attention to detail
- Association/non-profit experience preferred
- Excellent communications skills
