Responsibilities
Team lead over the Mobile Device Support team at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland. Supervises a team that provides technical support for portable electronic devices (PEDs). The mobile support team is responsible for the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of the U.S. Army, Communications Electronics Command’s (CECOM’s) Department of Defense Mobility Unclassified Capability (DMUC) devices as well as other PEDs such as MiFi Devices and flip phones.
Mobile Device Services include, but not limited to:
- Set up of Apple iOS, iPadOS, and Android devices
- Track assignment of mobile devices on The CECOM G6 All Org Master-Attachment C Allocation of Wireless Portable Electronic Device (PED) spreadsheet.
- Coordination of provisioning of mobile connectivity services
- Resolve tickets managed through BMC Remedy
- Have a working familiarity with:
- Purebred - enables DOD personnel to use DOD Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) credentials on mobile devices.
- MobileIron - the MDM software employed for device supervision.
- The Zimperium (zIPS) application is required to be installed on all DMUC devices and is critical for threat
- Monitor the DISA DOD Mobility Service Portal for announcements and user guide updates. As well as any information related to mobile device operations.
Qualifications
- Top Secret Security Clearance Required
- DoD 8570.01 M IAT Level II Baseline Certification Required (CSEC, Security CE, SSCP and CCNA-Security or equivalent as specified in the DoD 8570.01 M)
- Three (3) or more years of related experience.
