Continued growth and expansion has created the need for an Accounts Payable Associate to join our fast paced team. Essential Functions:• Prepares and processes purchase orders, invoices, check requests, manual checks and contract
payments
• Responsible for the accuracy and timely processing of weekly check printing
• Ensures purchase orders, receiving and invoices are matched
• Enter data invoices for payment
• Long hours on the computer entering financial information (which requires
attention to detail and high levels of accuracy)
• Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
• Resolve invoice discrepancies
• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and
accepted accounting practices

Position Qualifications:• Associates degree or related courses in accounting or equivalent 5 years of experience
• General accounting experience, preferably in construction industry
• Successful completion of practical test for use of QuickBooks Accounts Payable and demonstration of thorough Accounts Payable knowledge

Skills & Abilities:• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, to work with customers (internal and
external) at all levels
• Proficient with MS Office; Excel, Word, Outlook, and QuickBooks 
• Able to work independently, meet deadlines

Work Schedule: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Mon-Fri
