The primary function of this position focuses on the shipping and receiving process. You are responsible for checking in drivers, sending drivers to correct warehouse, staging of orders, loading and unloading trucks, ensuring all outbound trucks are sealed and managing appointment times in a timely manner. Our goal is to turn over as many trucks as possible in a day, while ensuring we are handling the shipping process in a safe and production manner. Ensure that all pallets are scanned every time they are moved to a new location. This position will play a major role in the cycle count process at onsite warehouses and offsite warehouses. In addition, this position works closely with the inventory coordinator on a daily basis.
This position is also expected to be cross-trained in many positions of the labeling process to allow coverage as needed. The person in this position reports directly to the Warehouse Manager and/or Warehouse Supervisor. Food Safety and Quality responsibilities include: Ensure product safety through enforcement of company policy and regulatory standards. Enforce company quality and safety standards.

HOURS: Day Shift would be 5:30a - 5:30p during pack, 6 days/week. After pack would be 5 days/week with potential for OT. 5:30a - 1:30p Mon-Fri.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Responsibilities, job duties, major tasks performed, and percentage of time required for each)
1. Operate forklift for truck and rail loading & unloading in both Markesan. Use of the Brye warehouse inventory system. Ensuring on-time shipping while focusing on safety, customer satisfaction and quality. Help support inventory accuracy 75%

2. Able to run label line equipment and provide support to ensure production is being completed to fulfill customer orders. Provide direction and supervision to seasonal employees. 10%

3. Communicate job and safety instructions and train other employees as needed. 5%

4. Ability to work together with employees within your department and within other departments. 5%

5. Assist on projects or work in different departments as needed or requested by your supervisor 5%
