We need a dynamic and self-driven Engineering Manager who will be a hands-on manager and leader to a team of offshore software engineers at DGDG. This individual should champion good engineering fundamentals and be a mentor for team members, helping them to grow. He/she will also be deeply involved in every aspect of product development from design through to implementation and maintenance, while bringing a focus on quality and stability in our software.

As a Engineering Manager, you are responsible for all aspects of DGDG software products with a focus on functionality and return-on-investment. This position will report to the Chief Technology Officer and will be on-site in San Jose.
Our Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have previous experience directly managing engineers and building software solutions, including websites, on the .NET or other platforms.
- Have cradle-to-grave ownership of large-scale cloud-based product development and maintenance processes.
- Have hands-on experience developing software in .NET or other platforms, using RDBMS, and using Azure or AWS cloud services.
- Be experienced in directing offshore development teams, using virtual meeting tools such as Teams or Zoom, Azure DevOps or JIRA.
- Be comfortable executing PowerShell scripts and running SQL queries against an RDBMS.
- Will work with project management to ensure execution of product milestones according to the roadmap.
- Will have a strong desire to learn everything about the business, while also being inclusive and sharing the learnings.
- Continuously enhance their technical knowledge and improving our ability to deliver quality solutions by evolving our engineering process and technical capabilities.
Experience required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field, and/or practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in technical software development as a developer using C#/Java/Python/NodeJS with RDBMS.
- 5 years of experience in technical software development with Azure or AWS cloud services and SQL databases.
- 3 years of software development management experience preferred.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of the software development process, especially website development. End-to-end understanding of the product lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Competency in detail-oriented tasks with good documentation skills.
- Good communicator with who can fluently articulate their point of view to executives and other teams.
Salary Range: $150-200K/annually
