Data Analyst Senior

POSITION OVERVIEW

DEFTEC Corporation is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to provide guidance and functional expertise in strategic planning and partnering to the Medical Education and Training Campus (METC) commandant and staff. You will provide consolation, guidance and functional expertise in developing and identify performance measurements to find trends and cost saving measures for METC.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Produce and format a multitude of metrics that shall impact the organization's outcomes, goals, objectives and strategic plan
  • Make recommendations that shall provide ongoing improvements to the organization
  • Provide graphical data to demonstrate trends and other statistical data to user-level as well as senior executives
  • Evaluate and recommend performance measures for METC
  • Make recommendations that shall provide ongoing improvements to the organization
  • Implement approved recommendations with the creation of live, real-time dashboards
  • Analyze metrics, identify areas of concern, provide trend analysis and be proactive in identifying future problems
  • Establish, design and maintain performance metrics for all areas of METC
  • Assist leadership in identifying important areas for metrics
  • Collect and input data to produce most accurate metrics possible
  • Work with Information Management/Information Technology on processes to streamline data collection

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Qualifications:

  • 10 years' experience working in the medical community with DoD or Federal Government
  • 10 years' experience working with data analysis
  • Knowledge and skills in Structured Query Language (SQL) query development and scripting
  • Knowledge and skills in creating, developing and designing performance measures utilizing Tableau Creator software
  • Proficient in the development and scripting of MS SharePoint lists and views
  • Expert in analyzing metrics, identifying areas of concern, providing trend analysis and proactivity in identifying future problems
  • Expert in producing and formatting a multitude of metrics
  • Expert in generating graphical and statistical data charts
  • Expert in Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), For Official Use Only (FOUO), and Classified information handling programs and procedures
  • Expert data collection skills
  • Excellent communication skills to include phone, office etiquette, verbal and written skills
  • Excellent working with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Master's Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and understanding of government property regulations and systems
