As a full-timeUser Experience Architect (Remote/Hybrid - this can be fully remote or hybrid depending on your location), you will design superior experiences for the users of a product, service, website, or application. The Architect/Designer is concerned with how using the product feels and crafting a frictionless flow from one step to the next, throughout the experience. Drawing on user research methodologies, strong creative and problem-solving skills, the Experience Architect/Designer works closely with business stakeholders and project team members to bring the product vision to life. The Experience Architect/Designer crafts experiences as per the business requirements and within the technical landscape for a given project, while keeping the end user as the central point. Research is conducted and represented as personas, journey maps, interviews, surveys, competitive analysis, etc. Concepts are translated into experiences and are rendered as sitemaps, user flows, sketches, wireframes, and prototypes that demonstrate interaction models and scenarios.

Responsibilities:

  • Realize a client’s product vision by researching, solutioning, wire-framing, prototyping, and user-testing experiences for digital products
  • Interact and collaborate with clients, colleagues, and external parties to align UX/CX solutions with overall objectives
  • Discover user/customer needs through research and competitive analysis, develop insights, generate solutions, and design how people will interact with digital products and services
  • Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that articulate intuitive user experiences and are optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces
  • Make strategic experience decisions related to persona and context for a given set of features
  • Articulate and craft interaction designs and experiences that support user goals, incorporate UX/CX best practices, and produce designs of the highest quality
  • Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design user experiences that meet both the business requirements and the client’s vision
  • Ability to iterate on designs and solutions intelligently and efficiently
  • Ability to communicate processes, concepts, and solutions clearly and effectively to teams and clients
  • A clear understanding of the importance of user-centered design, design thinking and accessibility
  • Ability to create experience maps, user journeys, interaction models, flows, wireframes, and prototypes
  • Ability to analyze the customer experience, journey(s) and service design that supports and renders the experience across ecosystems, products, touchpoints, and channels
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple projects at once
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and a willingness to keep skills and industry knowledge current
  • Proven success producing quality deliverables and meeting project deadlines
  • Ability to excel in a collaborative environment and deliver work against tight deadlines
  • Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills

Requirements:

  • 4 years of experience working in UX/CX design as a UX/CX Architect, UX/CX Designer, Information Architect, or Interaction Designer
  • Fluency and expertise in many industry standard UX and wireframing tools, such as Axure, Balsamiq, Adobe CS, and Sketch, etc.
  • Solid, well rounded, experience in the User/Customer Experience field who can work independently on a project with minimal direction/supervision
  • Research skills
  • Workshop facilitation skills
  • Strong wireframing and prototyping experience
  • Can hit the ground running
  • Able to interact effectively with client/team.
