What are the responsibilities and job description for the Armed Security Guards position at Defensor Security LLC?
We have an opening for a full-time Armed Security Officer at a State of Maryland office in Annaplis Md You must have valid MD permit to carry to be considered.
Must be available 8:00am - 4:30 pm Monday to Friday, No weekends or holidays.
Duties may include the following:
- Monitor front desk reviewing/issuing badges and verifying visitors sign in/out
- Monitor CCTV
- Check for unlocked doors, loitering, fire and water damage, etc.
- Execute services as outlined in post orders and as directed by Supervisor
- Write detailed reports to include: Activity Log and Incident Reports
- Enforce policies and procedures of facility and respond to emergency situations
Ideal Candidate:
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- MD Guard Certification and MD Permit-To-Carry(must have valid MD permit to carry)
- At least one year of Armed Security experience
- Ability to work independently as well as be a team player
- Strong work ethic (reliable, trustworthy, dedicated)
- Stable verifiable work history and a clean criminal background check
- At least 21 years of age, HS Diploma or GED
