Be a Clinician under State regulations, meaning a person with a doctoral or master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, nursing, rehabilitation, or related field from an accredited college or university. Must be certified by DHSS, in addition to any required scope of practice license required for the facility or agency to practice in the State. 

person with a doctoral or master's degree in clinical or counseling psychology, mental health nursing, clinical social work, vocational/psychiatric rehabilitation or education from an accredited college or university; a RN with certification in mental health nursing from the American Nurses Association; or a person with a bachelor's degree with five (5) years’ experience in mental health service delivery with at least two (2) years’ experience in residential services.
