Implementation Consultant

 Calling all data and software lovers! The Compose Client Success Team is hiring an Implementation Consultant for our fully UI-configured compensation planning software. The ideal Implementation Consultant has a deep understanding of the connection between data and software configurations and uses this knowledge in conjunction with project management and analytical skillsets to onboard new clients as part of our Client Success team. This role uses the combination of technical knowledge and exceptional communication and customer service to guide clients through the process through launch. This is a client-facing role and will be frequently interacting with assigned external clients as the direct project contact.

 What You’ll Do:

• Lead initial sessions to understand and translate client business needs into functional requirements within the Compose architecture.
• Document and map import template specifications.
• Project Management, including project plan creation/maintenance and regular client status calls and project status updates.
• Leading working sessions with the client to configure their Compose environment.
• Collaborate with the Implementation and Client Success teams to ensure best practices are at the heart of the client configurations.
• Maintain client change review/resolution during implementation and partner with Client Success in post-live support.
• Understand, document, and work with our internal technical resources to deliver client enhancements.
• Seek client feedback on the products and services to ensure a quality experience for the client.

What You Should Have:

• Direct HRIS or experience leading software implementation projects, gathering/documenting business requirements, software configurations, testing, training, and supporting clients
• Comfort in data analysis and determining the link between data and client-specific software configurations
• Strong working knowledge of expression/formula writing for complex logical statements.
• Ability to approach problems in a consultative manner while balancing internal best practices and standards
• Project management experience managing client expectations, project timelines, scope, risk, and quality while helping the client team navigate the complexity of the process in a controlled fashion.
• Self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through
• Strong understanding of SDLC required
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree is preferred

What Would Be Great to Have:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically advanced Excel proficiency required
• General knowledge of standard compensation practices and HCM software is a plus
• Experience in agile methodology, including the creation of epics, user stories, and tasks, preferred.
• Custom Report Writing (DevExpress) experience a plus.
