DecisionPoint prides itself on delivering efficient, effective solutions across a wide range of industries. Come join our team as a DevSecOps Engineer on the UNITED STATES TRANSPORTATION COMMAND MILITARY SURFACE DEPLOYMENT AND DISTRIBUTION COMMAND (SDDC) IT Support Services contract!

DecisionPoint is looking for someone to join a team that will evaluate the current environment, develop a process to deploy infrastructure as code, convert current applications to modern containerized/microservice applications, administer containers, and create a pipeline that can deploy the new modern applications. 

This position is 100% remote work and requires an active Secret clearance.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain deployments to a cloud environment using Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) workflows 
• Create DevSecOps pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
• Standup containerization technologies 
• Architect solutions for containerizing applications 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

• Active Secret Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience or 7 years’ experience in related field 
• Strong communication skills and self-starter who can thrive in a distributed (remote) work environment
• DOD 8570-01M certification: IAT Level II or better (e.g., Security CE) 

Desired Skills: 

• Provision systems using infrastructure as code
• Know scripting languages such as Bash, Perl, Python, PowerShell, Java, JSON, Groovy
• Be able to research new tools and processes for the CI/CD workflow
• Establish a process to build, test, and deploy to containerized microservices
• Collaborate on creation and development of the DevSecOps tool chain 
• Train/mentor other team members
