Chief Operating Officer (COO)
As a senior executive, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the firm. Reports to the President & CEO.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the CEO in creating and driving organizational vision and operations strategy.
- Implement business strategies, plans, and budgets that align with the short-term and long-term objectives developed in tandem with the CEO.
- Build and manage relationships with the firm’s key leaders, vendors, bankers, agents, etc.
- Oversee operations, accounting, data analytics, internal technology, marketing, and human resources.
- Synthesize feedback from all stakeholders to identify process, practice, and technology gaps and optimize opportunities.
- Partner with internal accounting to monitor all aspects of the firm’s financial performance and in preparing and disseminating accurate financial performance reports, for the firm and all operating units (service groups, industry teams).
- Assess and implement improved processes and technologies, collaborating with leadership regarding the implementation of these improvements.
- Ensure the firm is protected by managing its licensing, insurance coverage, etc.
- Support acquisitions.
- Manage the firm’s intranet, in conjunction with service groups and other teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required, business administration or accounting/finance preferred.
- CPA license a plus.
- 5 years’ experience in an executive leadership role required.
- Solid grasp of data analytics and performance metrics.
Travel
- Occasional business travel is required.
- Some travel will be overnight.
