The marketing team is a small but mighty team of smart, dedicated people. We split our time between many facets of the company, but above all, we are customer focused and driven to communicate the value of Deako as effectively as possible.
You will play an integral role in brand awareness; how our customers first encounter, get to know, and develop a relationship with the Deako brand. As a Senior Digital & Campaign Marketing Specialist in our B2B2C marketing organization, you will lead the digital marketing programs that engage our most strategic audiences, increase operational efficiency, drive incremental revenue growth, and build connections through personalized engagement.
This role will collaborate closely with the product, sales, customer experience, and support teams to develop and communicate through all digital channels to our customer segments.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Develop coordinated nurture and triggered campaigns across multiple channels (e.g., email, retargeting display ads, direct mail, SMS/push notifications) to uncover the optimal course of action for various audience groups across each lifecycle stage
Create comprehensive workflows and processes to launch products, services, and promotions
Structure A/B testing, measure and analyze campaign data
Measure and report the performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (e.g., ROI, KPIs, open/CTO rates for email campaigns, CTR, offer conversion rates)
Work with development, data, and operations teams to build and launch complex automated and ad hoc campaigns using internal and external tools
Projects you’ll work on:
Nurture & triggered email flows, strategy across B2B & B2C customer journeys
Customer-centric advertising strategy, including journey-based advertising, bidding and targeting strategies, paid search, social media advertising, reporting, and more.
SMS marketing campaigns
Deako mobile app onboarding email flow
Segmentation of customers through Hubspot
Continuous research on and identification of opportunities to improve customer touchpoints
Must-Have:
5 years of experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional email marketing campaigns.
3-4 years of work experience executing paid social advertising campaigns.
Proven experience working in Hubspot, Salesforce, or other marketing automation platforms.
Expertise in customer segmentation, subject lines, time of send, content, lead nurture strategy, landing pages, and channel management.
Experience testing email programs and analysis of performance on a weekly and monthly basis, to detect trends and examine CTR, CVR, and site traffic.
Mastery of delivering data-driven recommendations for future email program deployments.
Thorough understanding and passion for data-driven lifecycle marketing, customer marketing, retention, and testing frameworks at scale.
Deep knowledge of CRM for use in segmentation and targeting.
Ability to methodically test and identify best-performing content and messages for each audience and lead segmentation across email, retargeting ads, landing pages, etc.
Agency collaboration and management experience with other vendor partners.
Experience in planning, executing, and measuring experiments and conversion tests
Knowledge of emerging technologies to provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
Proactive attitude with strong critical thinking and observation skills.
Strong A/B testing experience, specifically with Google optimize, Google tag manager, HubSpot, CRM, Facebook and Google Ads.
Understanding of SEO optimization and best practices.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Clear and effective written and verbal communication, and strong interpersonal skills.
Nice to Have:
Experience in real estate, residential home building, or the building industry in general
E-commerce experience
Google AdWords, Facebook Ads, and Google Analytics certification
B2B2C experience (working with multiple channels and audiences)
