Deacon Construction is looking for an Operations Manager to join our Seattle office with experience in managing diverse construction teams. The ideal candidate will harbor a passion for building projects and building teams and possess exceptional leadership skill sets needed for success.

The Operation Manager’s job is to oversee multiple teams and projects from conception to the finished structure, interfacing with both construction professionals and the client.

This position requires thorough knowledge of all construction means and methods, managing budgets, schedules and relationships. Candidates should be self-starting and highly motivated, with the capability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The best candidates will be detailed and organized. Mentor team players with demonstrated delivery in high pressure situations. Excellent growth potential & benefits.

Desired Skills and Experience:

10 years of diverse experience from the field and as a project manager in Commercial Construction – Major Markets we work in include: Multi-Family, Affordable Housing, Mixed-Use, General Commercial and Storage.

Bachelor’s Degree (Architectural, Engineering, Construction Management and/or Business preferred)

Software program experience: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project scheduling, Bluebeam, Plangrid, Procore or similar management
