Introduction to DDB’s Data Analytics Team

DDB is seeking candidates with pronounced curiosity in patterns of consumer behavior. You will help us uncover the “what is happening” and “why it’s happening” to analyze the data and tell a story. In our highly creative environment, you are self-motivated to bring perspectives that inform, illuminate and inspire strategic insights, creative development, and business growth.

Our ideal candidate is proficient in working with attitudinal, behavioral, and transactional datasets. They will be comfortable massaging large datasets, tools and software.

An understanding of how martech and adtech spaces are evolving is an advantage. Fluency in digital metrics, ecommerce and media metrics is important. Platform understanding with experience working with leading digital & social platforms, their datasets and expertise in measurement methods is expected.

Responsibilities

To inspire:

  • Leverages analytics to uncover opportunities that inspire the larger team.
  • Able to concisely deliver meaningful insights based on data consolidated from multiple sources.
  • Champions new ideas and initiatives. Is eager to learn new tools and techniques.
  • Thinks critically about analytic findings and interpretations to predict possible conflicts.

To catalyze ideas:

  • Familiar with steps needed to advance ideas and insights.
  • Able to manage time and priorities across multiple projects.
  • Understands importance of the analytic process and when to challenge assumptions.
  • Conscious of technique and understands limitations when analyzing data.
  • Flexible in an agile environment.

To collaborate:

  • Recognizes how data research and delivery influences creative output and the importance of clear and compelling communication.

To encourage curiosity:

  • Eager to learn best practices and gain hands-on experience.
  • Applies constructive feedback to everyday action.
  • Demonstrates ambition to learn continuously and grow within the Analytics department.

To transform:

  • Displays understanding of how to grow revenue through incremental plus-up’s to scoped asks.

Qualifications

  • 2 years’ experience
  • Experience working with data as it relates to advertising and sales
  • Understanding of various marketing data platforms (specifically Google Analytics)
  • Curious enough to seek out and introduce new platforms, innovations
