Systems Engineer to support US ARMY Ground Vehicle Robotics (GVR) Autonomous Ground Re-Supply (AGR) program responsible for fielding 60 Autonomous Military Spec cargo transport vehicles.
This position will require an individual who thrives in a highly collaborative, highly interactive environment to become a broker of information as well develop and validate requirements for a software centric system.
Essential Job Functions:
Responsible for the development, management, and review of DoD Systems Engineering Documentation including the Performance Specification (P-SPEC), Software Development Plan (SDP) System/Subsystem Design Description (SSDD), Software Requirements Specification (SRS), Cyber Security Strategy, Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), Requirements Verification Matrix (RVM).
Responsible for the development and validation of any artifacts pertinent to the Safety Assessment Report (SAR) including hazard analysis (PHA and FHA), Partitioning, FMEAs, and System Level Software testing.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
Bachelor's Engineering degree paired with 12 years or more relevant experience, or Master’s Engineering degree paired with 10 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of the DOD acquisition process/DAU coursework.
Scrum framework methodology knowledge/experience.
Experience with requirements management tools such as IBM Rational Doors.
Proficient in the requirement development process utilizing tools *such as* IBM Rational Doors to communicate, trace, track, and develop requirement baselines though multiple builds of the software development process.
Proficient in project management tools such as Confluence.
Proficient in communicating with technical engineering managers, system/software architects, software developers, and non-technical program managers, end users, and military leadership.
Desired Skills:
Experience with MagicDraw.
Experience with Safety Critical Systems.
