DCS Corp is seeking a dynamic, team oriented, energetic, and customer focused Electrical Engineer to support our U.S. Army customer onsite at the Detroit Arsenal. You will be working with a group of Managers, Engineers, and Technicians to provide advanced solutions the Ground Vehicle Systems Center. You will have the responsibility of supporting the Physical Simulation Lab (Building 215) as a Facilities Lead and supporting the upcoming MILCON effort.
Essential Job Functions:
Provide support to Building 215 as a facilities lead to maintain and improve upon their testing capabilities.
Play a role in the upcoming MILCON effort by supporting the design and review stages on a system level basis.
Design and review facility architectures to ensure future development is in accordance with all necessary standards and regulations.
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. citizenship is required.
Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and twelve years’ experience leading facility design.
Experience in a lab environment.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Experience with designing and managing new construction and well as facility renovation.
Experience with previous MILCON efforts.
Understanding of building codes as well as safety and environmental standards and regulations.
Experience with SOW's, contracts, and audits.
